PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bruce County Council, at a meeting to be held on TUESDAY, 6th JULY, 1937. intends to LEVY the following RATES:— ' A HOSPITAL and CHARITABLE AID RATE of Half-penny (id) in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property within the County of Bruce, under Section 52 of "The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926." A GENERAL RATE, under Section 120 of "The Counties Act, 1920," of One Penny (Id) in the £ upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within Balmoral No. 1, Balmoral No. 2. Kaitangata, Inchclutha, Matau and Mount Stuart Ridings; One Penny and one-eighth (lid) upon the rateable value of all rateable property within Crichton, Tokomairiro, and Waihola Ridings; One Penny Farthing did* upon the rateable value of all rateable property within Clarendon Riding; One Penny Halfpenny (ljd) upon the rateable value of all rateable property within Glenledi Riding. Also the various annual recurring Special and Separate Rates. Also the following Special Drainage South bridge Drainage Area: One Penny in the £ on Class A land, halfpenny in the £ on Class B land, one farthing in the £ on Class C land. Clarksville Drainage Area: One farthing in the £ on Class A land, one-eighth of a penny on Class B land, one-sixteenth of a penny in the £ on Class C land. The SAID RATES to be for the year ending 31st March; 1938, and to be payable in one sum at the Bruce County Office, Milton, on the let day of September, 1937.
