MOTOR CYCLE RACING

SENIOR TOURIST TROPHY RACE WINNER ATTAINS RECORD SPEED LONDON, June 18. F. L. Frith, riding a Norton, won the Senior Tourist Trophy Race on the Isle of Man. His time was 2hr 59min 41sec, and he maintained an average speed of 88.21 miles an hour. There were 23 starters.

Frith's last lap was covered at the record speed of 90.27 miles an hour.
