BRITISH WAGE RATES
CHANGES FOR FIVE MONTHS BENEFIT TO THE WORKERS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, June 17. (Received June 18, at 5.5 p.m.) Changes in wage rates reported to the Ministry of Labour l for the first five months of the year are estimated to have resulted in a net increase of about £367,000 a week in the full-time rates of over 2,900,000 workers, compared with an increase of £487,050 a week in the whole of last year.
