REPORTS OF COMMITTEES The following reports will be submitted to the monthly meeting of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on Monday night:— WORKS COMMITTEE Authority has been granted to give public notice of the board’s intention to hold an examination for drainers’ licences. In terms of the board's bylaws the chairman (Cr J. W. Munro. M.P.) has been appointed the board’s representative on the Board of Examiners. The remaining members of the Board of Examiners comprise the drainage engineer, the chief inspector, one member to be appointed by the Master Plumbers’ Association, and one member to be appointed by the Operative Plumbers' Union of Employees. FINANCE COMMITTEE Formal resolutions dealing with the loan issue of £30.000 sanctioned in March last will be submitted direct to the board, and it is recommended that these be adopted.
