Speaking nothing but English, having forgotten his mother tongue, a 35-year-old Belgian has found his family again after 23 years and is beginning to learn French and Flemish. Louis Govaerts was on holiday with his grandmother when the Great War broke out. She escaped with him to England, and by the end of the war he had lost all trace of his family, who live at Kessel-Loo, near Louvain. He got a job at the age of 14, and finally settled down in England to make accumulators. In 1D25 he married in London. Now. thanks to the police, he has at last made contact with the members of his family. Mr Govaerts invited them to visit him m London for the Coronation festivities.
