SUPREME COURT

WELLINGTON SESSIONS PRISONERS SENTENCED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Ostler: — John Randall Ferguson, aged 24, a labourer, three charges of obtaining food by false pretences at Gisborne and Wellington—two years' reformative detention. Henry Emanuel Blick, aged 69, a seaman and labourer, indecent assault on a male at Takaka—three years' imprisonment with hard labour. Horace Raymond Edlin, aged 31, a labourer, breaking, entering, theft and arson —two years' imprisonment with hard labour, and declared an habitual criminal. Ida Minnie M'Leod, aged 31, a married woman, two charges of breaking, entering and theft, and one charge of breaking and entering with intent—two years' probation. Malcolm John Williams, aged 23, a joiner apprentice, four charges of theft at Palmerston North—two years' probation and to pay the costs of the prosecution. John Beattie, aged 24, blacksmith and labourer indecent assault on a female at Marton—two years' imprisonment with hard labour. Rauhuia Te Huatahi Ngerengere, aged 38, a labourer, incest at Tikitiki —five years' imprisonment with hard labour: : Daniel Spence Andrew, aged 21, farm labourer, assault with intent to commit rape at Hawera—three years' imprisonment with hard labour. '
