little progress made agreement on minor issues (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. Only minor points were agreed on in the Conciliation Council dispute today between the tannery employers and the Curriers and Beamsmens Union. The employers staled that owing to the difficulties in working the tanneries they were unable to agree to a settlement on anything less than a 44-hour week. The employees are adamant for 40 hours. The questions were referred to the court. The hearing was adjourned to enable both parties to discuss among themselves the question of classifications. They will meet again to-fnorrow.
