ORPHANS’ CLUB

SOCIAL EVENING The fortnightly meeting of the Dunedin Orphans’ Club was held last night, the chairman (Bro, W, E. Earnshaw) presiding over a large attendance of members and visitors. The meeting took the form of a social, members contributing musical and humorous items. Bro. A L. Willis gave an interesting talk on the Chatham Islands.

The following members assisted with the programme:—Bros. A. Clark, C R. Williamson. E F. Paris. J. Pringle. T W Bobbie, M. Harrould (songs): Bro F. Newmarch (legerdemain): Bro. J. A. Haggitt (humour): Bro H. W. Hunter (recitation). The club orchestra, conducted by Bro. J. Clark, played selections, and the accompanist for the evening was Bro. Alf. Pettitt.
