The New Zealand Trutting Association advises that the names of trainers and drivers, duly endorsed by the chairman or committee of the nearest totalisator club, must be lodged with the association not later than June 30 Has the Breeding Lustre, who was started in the Longbeach Handicap at Ashburton yesterday, is trained by G. M'PJendry, and is by Wrack—Pearl Pointer, the dam of Kempton, Nicoya and While Satin, all good, solid trotters. If Lustre has shown little in her few appearances in public, she certainly has breeding to recommend her. Adams Cup Memorial With the exception of Auto Machine and Prince Pedro, who have not won at two miles for two seasons, and Our M'Kinney, who has yet to win at the distance, the entrants for the Adams Memorial Cup have winning performances this season. King's Play, Star Pronto, Gold Dredge and Nervie's Last scored at Epsom, Ironside at Claudelands, and Stirling Lady at New Brighton. Very Consistent Gflld Dredge has been most consistent during the past 18 months. This season Gold Dredge was second at Hamilton to King's Guide, and occupied a similar position behind Lucky Jack in the Alexandra Park Handicap. She captured the Fergusson Handicap at the April meeting and has also registered a first and two thirds in three starts at a mile and a-quarter. Gold Dredge has performances of 4min 29 3-ssec, 4min 30sec, 4min 80 l-ssec, 4min 31 l-ssec, 4min 32 2-ssec. As she is in great heart Gold Dredge should again race prominently.
