DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB'S WINTER MEETING Yesterday was a day so perfect that it was a treat to be out at Wingatui. There was a large crowd of patrons on the lawn, all smartly dressed in those tweeds, furs, and coats that, while chic, give comfort and warmth to the wearers. Bronze should never be washed unless absolutely necessary. Bronze ornaments should be dusted, and occasionally the surface gently wiped with a cloth dipped in linseed oil. Afterwards warm and polish with a chamois leather.
