The secretary (Mr John Williamson) read the seventy-sixth annual report and balance sheet, which recorded another very satisfactory year for the society. The annual show was held on the Show Grounds. Outram, on Saturday, November 21. The weather was good, and there vas a record attendance of the public, and the judging of the various sections passed off expeditiously. The grand parade of prize stock and the jumping competitions were again attractive features of the show. Exhibitors had again shown their appreciation of the improvements to the Show Grounds by bringing forward their exhibits in increased numbers, the entries in all sections being very good. The quality, too, was up to the usual high standard. The ladles also were well to the fore in their display of dairy produce and cookery exhibited, the whole display being a credit to the district. Total entries for all sections numbered 820. Remarks by the judges proved that the display of prize stock was one of the best that ever came before them. Eight ordinary committee meetings were held during the year, and were well attended by the members. It was gratifying to notice the increased interest shown by members. The annual social, which had become a popular function, was held in the Agricultural Hall, Outram.
