GOOD WISHES EXTENDED
AUSTRALIAN TRADE COMMISSIONER .DEPARTURE FROM DOMINION (Per Unheo Press Association* WELLINGTON, May 29. Mr R. H. Nesbitt, the Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, left Wellington this afternoon by the Maunganui, and on arrival in Sydney will sever his engagement with the Federal Government to take over the responsibility of the chairmanship of the New South Wales Milk Board under the State Government. Mr Nesbitt expressed his deep appi'eciation of the courtesies accorded to him in the three years during which he has filled the office of Australian Trade Commissioner. " I trust that as a result of my official life in New Zealand," he said, " the feeling of goodwill and friendship from one country to the other may be found to have been more firmly cemented and more deeply ingrained in the hearts of the people of New Zealand. I wish New Zealand well. I will watch with interest the development of the Dominion to see it continue to flourish and prosper and remain a brilliant jewel in the Empire crown."
