PROFESSIONAL MATCH VINES DEFEATS PERRY LONDON, May, 25. Vines defeated Perry 7—5, 6—B, 6—2, 4—6, 6—3. AMERICAN DAVIS CUP TEAM BUDGE BACK TO FORM FOREST HILLS, May 25. (Received May 26, at 10 p.m.) In practice games played by the American Davis Cup players Budge defeated Grant 6—3, 6—l, 3—6, 6—3. Budge showed his best form this year. Mako and Riggs defeated Lott and Sabin 6—l. 7—5. 6—l. Mako nlayed excellently and appeared to have struck form. American writers are convinced that Crawford and Ouisl will do all the Australians' playing, and Grant will get the American No. 2 Singles assignment.
