Hotel Extension The Mount Cook Southern Lakes Tourist Company contemplates adding another storey to Eichardt's Hotel shortly. The addition will be made over the present two-storey structure, and will comprise 25 rooms—mostly bedrooms. These, as well as the present rooms,,will be fitted up with hot and cold water and an up-to-date system of heating will be installed. The company has in view the building up of a winter traffic in Queenstown similar to that at Mount Cook. Mr H. Hall, the company's architect, and Mr R. L. Wigley, managing director of the company, will visit Queenstown 'in the course of a few days with a view to furthering the object in view.
