WRECKED ON REEF

AUXILIARY YACHT HURRICANE SYDNEY, May 25. Advice has been received that the American auxiliary yacht Hurricane, which left Sydney late m Febru'arv in continuation of a world cruise from Miami, Florida, was wrecked on the Uluma Reef, near Samaria, New Guinea. The owners, Kauffman and Mefferd, are safe. THE YACHT SALVAGED SYDNEY, May 25. (Received May 26, at 0.15 a.m.) Further advice has been received that the yacht Hurricane has been salvaged by the owners with the aid of natives, and that the voyage will be resumed after extensive repairs.
