TROUBLE IN NORTH-WEST BRITISH CONVOY AMBUSHED NEW DELHI, April 10. (Received April 11, at 9 p.m.) ' A communique announces that an encounter on the north-west frontier resulted in six British officers being killed and five wounded. Nineteen other ranks were killed and 35 wounded when followers of the Fakir of Ipi attacked a convoy of lorries and armoured cars in a narrow gorge between Manzai and Wana. The tribesmen's rifle fire brought down a bombing plane, but the occupants were uninjured.
