CALEDONIAN GROUND

CARNIVAL CONCLUDED TO-NIGHT The attractive carnival which has had a particularly successful season at the Caledonian Ground, will be concluded to-night wheh a programme of special and varied. events will be presented. Under the electric lights, the scootaboats, the chair-o-plane, the merry-go-round and the other carnival attractions offer enjoyment for everybody, and the different side-shows and competition stalls lend gaiety to the carnival surroundings. Included in the programme of events to be presented to-night is a special display of gymnastics by sailors from the Australian warship at present berthed at Port Chalmers. Dare-devil motor cyclists racing round the ground will also be seen and trick “ stunts ” will be performed while the machines are in motion. Other novelties and spectacular events will be witnessed. There will be no charge for admission
