MOVE BY FEDERATION HIGH WAGES FOR WORKERS PARIS, Mar. 9. On behalf of the Confederation of Labour, M. Jouhaux called on M. Blum asking for an increase in pay for miners, civil servants, and public works employees, early steps to halt the rise in the cost of living, and a legalised May Day holiday.
