RIVAL LABOUR BODIES

THE POSITION IN AMERICA NEW YORK, Mar. 10. (Received Mar. 10, at 11 p.m.) It is announced that the C. 1.0, is starting the creation of State Labour federations and central Labour bodies as rivals to similar bodies existing within the American Federation of Labour, thus making a final break with the federation. He also announced that the C. 1.0." would soon start organisations drives to enrol most of the 2,250,000 workers in the textile and oil refining industries. Mr William Green said the action of the C. 1.0. was only what he predicted a year ago. Meanwhile strikers have held full control of the Chrysler plants in Detroit. The Hudson plant has also been closed, but the General Motors plants in Flint have been reopened. Governor Murphy is prepared to fly from Florida to renew his peace efforts.
