DUNEDIN CUP MEETING

THE RICCARTON CONTINGENT (Special to Daily Times) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 8. H. Cults went south this morning for the Dunedin meeting with Wild Chase, Paper Slipper, Top Notch and Haughty Winner. Two others from the stable, Lazybones and Mob Rule, were acceptors but they will not make the trip. H. Nurse left this morning with Palmyra, but his other acceptor, Rousseau will not fulfil his engagements. C. C. M'Carthy, with Argentic, went south this morning. The Silverado gelding is in good order for the Dunedin Cup. J. T. Beard, who raced Robant on Saturday, went south this morning for the Dunedin meeting. On to-night’s train Mrs J. Campbell went with Tunneller, Knockfin and Willie Win, while other trainers will leave to-morrow.

Several acceptors from Riccarton stables, including Palady, Glenavon. Concertpitch. Gold Label and Dictate, will not fulfil their Wingatui engagements.
