ERECTION OF MEMORIALS • CONCENTRATION ON HEALTH CAMP SCHEME (Pen United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 4. i The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. E. Parry) intimated 1 to a deputation to-day the Government’s decision that there would be no State grants towards the cost of the erection of either memorials to the late King George or Coronation memorials in any part of the Dominion. He said the Government intends to concentrate its available resources on national work of providing for the health .of children, and creating a fund for the permanent s establishment of children’s camps as . a national memorial to the late King.
