FLYING BOAT MAIL SERVICE THE AUSTRALIAN SECTION SYDNEY, Feb. 3. The Herald's Canberra correspondent says negotiations between the Commonwealth and British Governments fqr a new air mail agreement involving the use of the flying boats on the Australian section of the route have been completed. All major points of difference have now been settled, and it is expected that the terms of the new agreement will be announced at the end of this week. CAPE FLIGHT ABANDONED MARSEILLES, Feb. 2. Mr Llewellyn decided to return to England owing to bad weather reports. COLONEL LINDBERGH LONDON, Feb. 2. The absence of news from Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh is causing anxiety. Reports from Budapest that they crashed on the JugoslavHungarian frontier are unconfirmed. The difficulty of establishing their whereabouts is increased owing to the secrecy of their plans. Colonel Lindbergh set off merely remarking: "We are just going for a little jaunt."
A message 'previously published stated: " Taking a secret route, Colonel Lindbergh, accompanied by hi;? wife, is flying to Egypt from Lympne in his specially-designed plane." ARRIVAL AT ROME ROME, Feb. 2. The Lindberghs have arrived. They will spend the night here. BOMBING PLANE MISSING HOBART, Feb. 3. (Received Feb. 3, at 11.55 p.m.) Two Air Force Demon bombing planes which left Melbourne to-day to participate in military manoeuvres in Tasmania encountered bad weather. One made a forced landing at Warath and the crew was unhurt, but the other is missing. It carries a crew of tv/o.
