THE WANGANELLA

ENGINE TROUBLE EXPERIENCED A TEMPORARY STOPPAGE / _____ (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 3. Engine trouble was encountered on the second day out from Sydney by the Huddart Parker motor ship Wanganella, which arrived at Auckland this afternoon. Although the officers and representatives of the company in Auckland were reticent and refused to discuss the matter, it is understood that for a time the liner was driven by only one engine. Piston trouble was said to have made it necessary to stop one engine temporarily on the second day of the voyage. It was stated that repairs would be effected while the liner was in port.
