SEVERE EARTHQUAKE

REGISTERED IN ENGLAND LONDON, Jan. 7. An earthquake, the most violent since Quetta, has, just been registered at London and West Bromwich. The needle swung 7in and is still oscillating. It is believed that the upheaval is centred in the West Indies or Central Asia.
