SUNDAY SERVICES
The morning service at Knox Church will be conducted by the Rev. H. A. Mitchell, B.A. In the evening the Rev. D. C. Herron will speak on “ The Rest Which Comes to Lowered Eyes.” The Rev. Professor S. F. Hunter, D.D., will be the preacher at First Church to-morrow. In the evening there will be a soprano solo, “1 know that my Redeemer liveth.” Dr V. E. Galway will be the organist. Services at United Congregational Church, Albany street, will be conducted by Mr H. D. Austin in the morning, and by Mr E. Sincock in the evening. Services will be held in St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church. Mr Kenneth Meikle will be the preacher for both the morning and evening services.
At the Spiritualist Church at 6.30 p.m. Mr W. J. Hutton will be the speaker. He has chosen as his subject “Man, the Creator.” At 8 p.m. on Monday the Healing Centre will resume practice. Services at the Hanover Street 'Baptist Church wil be conducted by the Rev. R. L. Fursdon. Both services of Divine worship at Moray Place Congregational Church will be conducted by Mr R. Scott, of Knox College. Service at the Salvation Army, Dowling street, will take the form of a farewell to Adjutant and Mrs Mahaffie, who have been appointed to take charge of Newton Corps, Aucklahd. At the Greater World Christian Spiritual Mission the Rev. Gertrude Brooks will speak on “A Unique Experience.” Spiritual clairvoyance and an after circle will follow.
The Rev. C. H. Olds will conduct both services at Trinity Methodist Church. In the morning his subject will be “ Ebenezer—the Stone of Help,” and in the evening, “ God’s Wayfarer.”
