Lyons), the Minister of Defence (Sir Archdale Parkhill), and the Treasurer (Mr R. G. Casey) will be the Commonwealth delegation to the Coronation and Imperial Conference. DISEASE AMONG DAIRY COWS HIGH PROPORTION AFFECTED BRISBANE, Jan. 7. (Received Jan. 7, at 11.55 p.m.) What is described as "three day sickness " has broken out among the dairy herds of Queensland. At least 70 or 80 per cent, are affected, but the mortality, fortunately, is low. Government officials express the opinion that the infection possibly began with a flying insect introduced from Java by one of the many aeroplanes arriving in Australia. It has been established that the sickness was carried by an insect with a very wide range of flight. A Government investigation is proceeding.
