NEW NATIONAL AGREEMENT CONSIDERATION BY UNIONS i —— (Peb United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 6. Members of the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union are to vote on Friday on the terms of the proposed agreement for new conditions as drawn up by representatives of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Federation and Associated Ship--owners. The agreement will be a national one. Mr J. Roberts, secretary of the federation, will tour the Dominion and explain the proposals to waterside workers in the main shipping centres. It is anticipated that some considerable time will i elapse before the federation can announce the result.
