SOMERSAULTS A HUNDRED FEET THREE PERSONS INJURED (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 4. Three people returning by motor car to Auckland last night from a holiday at Red Beach were injured when their car ran off the road at a point about a mile beyond Albany, and somersaulted for 100 feet over a The driver, Mr J. K. Martin, of Epsom, escaped with injuries to his back, but Mrs Martin suffered a fracture of the pelvis. Their daughter received cuts and abrasions.

Difficulty was experienced in bringing the injured people to the road, and about a dozen people laboured with stretchers in heavy rain and darkness before their task was completed. It was only through the willing help'of motorists that the injured were brought to the road as quickly as they were. The car, a saloon model, was wrecked beyond repair. . ,
