(Received Jan. 5, at 1.45 a.m.) • Thieves stole £2OOO worth of jewellery from the hotel bedroom of Jean Hackett, the 27-year-old daughter of an Australian, the late Sir Winthrop Hackett. The bedroom door was forced during dinner and a leather suitcase containing the jewellery was ripped open.
