FASCIST “LIBERTIES”

. THE WEARING OF ARMLETS A SERGEANT'S ACTION RESENTED LONDON, Jan. 3. The British Union of Fascists has complained to Sir Philip Game that a metropolitan police sergeant, on January 1, requested a Fascist to remove an armlet bearing the Fascist insignia. The union contends that the sergeant's action was illegal, and asks Sir Philip Game to order discontinuance, thus obviating the union starting proceedings in the High Court to "secure the protection of persona] tradition and liberties."

Sir Philip Game, in response to another letter, refused to institute a test case regarding the legality of wearing a black shirt under a plain jacket.
