DUNEDIN HIGHLAND PIPE BAND

FUND TO PROVIDE UNIFORMS A well-attended and enthusiastic meeting of friends and supporters of the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band was held last evening, when plans and suggestions for the forthcoming campaign to raise funds to provide the band with much-needed new uniforms were discussed. It was unanimously agreed to support the effort, and sub-commit-tees were set up to carry the campaign to a successful issue.

It was reported that plans were well in hand for calling upon prominent Scotsmen and well-wishers of the band, and it was hoped to raise the necessary £250 before Christmas.
