MONTHLY SOCIAL The monthly social of the Orkney and Shetland Society was held on Saturday night, the entertainment taking the form of a "Ladies' Night." There was a good attendance of members and a pleasant evening was spent. The president (Mr A. B. Fraser) extended a hearty welcome to all, and especially to the representatives of kindred The evening was passed in dancing and musical and other items were given at intervals, those contributing to the programme being Miss Noeline Reeves (harlequin dance), Miss Margaret Murray (songs), Mr George Watson (Scottish humour). Master Murray Kerr (songs). The M.C. for the evening was Mrs Fergus. *
