In an open-air bout on Saturday before a crowd of nearly 1000, Bill Pluto, 11.11 (Australia), had a comfortable win on points over Harry Reeve, 11.4|, the New Zealand cruiser-weight champion. Pluto was faster with his hands and in his footwork, and Reeve's style suited him.
