NEW SOUTH WALES LOTTERY SURPLUS FOR THE YEAR SYDNEY Nov. 4. (Received Nov. 5, at 1 a.m.) The New South Wale? Government lottery finished the year with a surplus of £685,158. which in due course will be distributed to charities. The income froi the sale af lottery tickets to the public amounted to £1,941,762 and the prize money paid amounted to £1,200.250. AIR MAIL ARRIVES SYDNEY. Nov. 4. (Received Nov. 5. at 1.30 a.m.) The overseas air mail arrived in Sydney to-day. The mails were transferred to a Melbourne plane, and they arrived in time for the New Zealand mails to connect with the outgoing Marama
