WAIKOUAITI TO SAIL The Union Company advises that the Walkoualtl completed working cargo at Dunedin last evening, and will sail early this morning for Tlmaru and Lyttelton. WAITAKIPROM MELBOURNE The Union Company’s Intercolonial freighter Waltakl Is due here this morning from Melbourne, via Bluff. She Is to sail later In the day for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. Her running will then be taken up by the Mamma, leaving Bluff on October 29 for Melbourne. No advice regarding the Waltakl’s future movements has been received. OMANA LEAVES ADELAIDE The Omana left Adelaide on 'Friday for Bluff . Dunedin, Lyttelton. Wellington, Castlecilff and New Plymouth. Having discharged the Dnnedln portion of her Liverpool cargo, the Rotorua- left Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. She will also load at Welllngton/and Auckland, and Is scheduled lo clear the latter port on November 10 for London, aria Panama, WANGANELLA'S DEPARTURE Neill and Co., local agents for Huddart. Parker, Ltd., have received advice that the departure of the Wanganella from Wellington on Thursday, will be delayed from noon till 8 p.ra. KAIRANGA’S ITINERARY The Union Company advises that the Kairanga Is now to load at Newcastle on October 22 and Sydney on October 24 for Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Tlmaru, Lyttelton and Miramar. She is expected here about October 00. THE BRISBANE MARU Neill and Co. advise that the O.S.K. Line motor ship Brisbane Maru. which left Mojl on October 3 for Australia and New Zealand, will make Dunedin her first port of call in the Dominion. She Is expected here on November 1. The O.S.K. Line’s direct service to New Zealand will bo resumed with the sailing from Mojl on November 4 of the Sydney Marti, which will rail first at Auckland. NAPIER STAR’S DEPARTURE The Blue Star Line steamer Napier Star cleared Auckland finally on Saturday for London, via Cape Horn. She took the following passengersMr and Mrs P. J. Kloppenburg and three daughters. Dr A. L. Wilson Is acting as ship’s stn-geon. MANUKAU BEACONS The Marine Department announces the following alterations to leading beacons at Mannkau entrance Front beacon: Visibility has been altered to 12 miles. The light s now visible from OlSdeg through east to 11-dcg. Rear beacon: The light Is now visible from 027 deg through east to 097 deg. GOLDEN BEAR FOR NELSON On her next visit to New Zealand, about the end of December or the beginning of January, the Golden Bear, from Pacific Coast ports of America, will include Nelson In her ports of call. DESSAU FROM GULF PORTS The German steamer Dessau (5933 tons) arrived at Auckland on Thursday night. She comes from "ulf of Mexico ports with sulphur and general cargo, and will also discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. Captain Wauschaffe Is In command. The Dessau Is expected at Dunedin about October 20.' ' LINER ORION'S ITINERARY

The Orient liner Orion' arrived at Fremantle from London last Tuesday. She is due at Sydney to-morrow. After landing her passengers for Australia the vessel will make an excursion cruise to New Zealand. She will leave Sydney on October 22 for Brisbane. AUSTRALIND CLEARS NEW YORK The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the A. and A. Line motor slop Australind cleared New York on October 9 and Newport News on October II for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, She Is due at Auckland on November 15. The Australind. when she has completed discharge, will load at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin during December for New York, Boston and Halifax, under the auspices of the M-A-N.Z. Line, to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. RANGITIKI REPORTS The New Zealand Shipping Company has received a wireless message from its motor liner Bangltlki, en route from London to Wellington, via the Panama canal, reporting that she expects to arrive In , the stream at Wellington this morning to land passengers and malls, and Is to leave again to-morrow for Lyttelton and 1 ort Chalmers to discharge her London cargo.
