DISTRICT NURSING

ROSLYN ASSOCIATION MEETING At the monthly meeting of the Roslyn District Nursing Association there were present Mr J. Moir (chairman), Mesdames W. Heenan, J. B. Dawson, A. Chisman, W. A. Brown, Misses F. A. Wilkinson, E. Rutherford, J, Robertson, and Mr J. H. Matheson. The district nurse’s report showed that she had been kept very busy. A fine response to the chairman's appeal for blankets and clothing had been given, and needy families had been supplied with necessary bedding. The committee was very grateful to all those friends and to the guilds of the local churches for their generous help in the way of clothing, blankets, shoes, etc. The sales that were held on first and third Fridays of each month seemed to meet a need in the homes of the district.
