IDEAL HOMES

LITTLEBOURNE HOUSE EXHIBITION Littlebourne House was again visited by a large number of people during yesterday afternoon and evening and keen interest was aroused in the various sections of the Ideal Homes Exhibition which is at present being staged in the mansion. The spacious grounds with their beautiful trees and shrubs, enhanced at night by coloured lighting, were also the subject of favourable comment. The purpose of the exhibition is to enlarge public acquaintance with modern types of furnishing and domestic conveniences and to endeavour to stimulate business by the attractive arrangement of these under home conditions. The display embodies practically everything that can be included in the inventory of a well-appointed home and the taste with which !he various rooms have been set out reflects the greatest credit on all concerned. The exhibits range from costly dining room and bedroom suites to the latest appliances for use in the kitchen or washhouse.
