LINER'S ENGINEERS
ULJIMATUM TO COMPANY BETTER HOURS AND PAY LONDON, Oct. 14. (Received Oct. 15, at 10 p.m.) The engineers walked off the Strathaird, which is due to sail for Australia on October 16. They presented an ultimatum to the P. and O. Company stating that they will not sail unless their demands for better hours and pay are granted.
