ATHLETIC BURGLAR
DARING METHODS EMPLOYED BUSINESS PREMISES ROBBED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. A series of burglaries, the feature of which is the remarkable athletic prowess of those responsible, has been carried out in the mid-city area of Wellington recently. In many instances entry has been gained after the intruder had climbed on to the roof or had chosen some other daring means, calling for steady nerve and physical strength. * The latest crime was carried out in Willis street, where the premises of Keans, Ltd., were entered by climbing down the 30-foot light well. The office and part of the shop were ransacked. The extent of the firm's losses has not yet been computed, but it is not expected to be heavy.
