A LOW-PRICED MONOPLANE PRODUCTION IN ENGLAND LONDON, Oct. 5. (Received Oct. 6, at 11 p.m.) The production of a £195 aeroplane, called the Brawny, has been begun by a new company, which claims it will be the cheapest ownerpilot machine ever built in Britain. It is a single-seater monoplane with a baby car engine capable of 35 to 40 miles to the gallon and a top speed of 80 miles an hour.
