BRIDEGROOM AT SEVENTYEIGHT

At the age of 78, Judge Patrick Walsh, K.C., was married at Harrow, Middlesex, Catholic Church recently to Miss Alice Moxon, 54, of Liverpool. The bridegroom, who is retired, met his bride when he was a judge in Cyprus. She was then matron of the Government hospital there. He was, until last year, Chief Justice of Seychelles, after having been president of the district courts, Cyprus. Mr Brian Walsh, one of the judge's sons by his first marriage, was best man, and Dr H. P. Walsh, of Harrow, another son, gave the bride away. After the ceremony, Judge Walsh remarked: "We have been great friends for several years, and as we have both retired we have decided to settle down together."
