CLOSES TO-DAY The delightful collection of oil paintings by celebrated English and Scottish artists at the Pioneer Hall closes to-day at 3 p.m. The opportunity of seeing these works of art should not be missed Mr R. Barnett, who brought this collection out from London, reports that he has sold 42 pictures in Dunedin, and is convinced that this city is the art centre of the Dominion. Some of the paintings are "At Thorpe Dovedale," by E. J. Nomann; " Boxhill, Surrey," by George Vincent; "At the College Door," by John Faed, R.S.A.; and "The Primrose Girl," by P. F. Poole. R.A.
