ART EXHIBITION

The beautiful collection of oil paintings and water colours being shown at the Pioneer Hall will continue until 3 p.m. to-day, when it will be shipped back to England. This exhibition has been greatly admired by all the artists, as well as the public. Yesterday's sales were "At Bletchingley, Surrey," by Richard Gates; Loch Katrine," by M. B. Sampson; " Changing Pasture," by Robert Allen; "At Chertsey," by W. G. Weaver, R. 1.; "On the River Scheldt," by G. H. Van Loo; and "At Lugano," by Professor Versari. Mr Barnett will be pleased to value any collection or individual paintings. Among the many pictures that should not be missed, are "At the Cottage Door," by John Faed, R.S.A.; '' Glen Arisaig," by Horatio MacCulloch; " Isle of Arran," by James Docharty, R.S.A.; " Inverary. North Britain," by A. F. Rolfe; " Monarchs of the Highlands," by Ernest Walbourne; and "The Morning Call," by William Shayer, sen.
