FREIGHTER STRIKES REEF

ON QUEENSLAND COAST CARGO OF WOOL AND SUGAR BRISBANE, Oct. 2. (Received Oct. 3, at 0.15 a.m.) Fully laden with wool and sugar from Gladstone, Townsville and Cairns, the Hain Line freighter Nimoda, of 4376 tons, struck a reef in Princess Charlotte Bay, north of Nooktown, and is in serious danger.
