THE INDUSTRIES BILL

FAR-REACHING PROVISIONS REQUEST FOR POSTPONEMENT (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Oct. 2. The Industrial Efficiency Bill was considered yesterday by a fully representative meeting of delegates of the Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, and the following resolution was unanimously carried:— “That, in the opinion of the New Zealand delegates to the fourteenth congress of the Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire, the Industrial Efficiency Bill is of such a far-reach-ing character that this meeting strongly urges on the Government postponement of its consideration till next session, so as to give time for consideration by all the interests concerned.”
