Waimarlno reached Dunedin yesterday evening from Auckland, via ports, and after discharging a nuantlty of general cargo, she will sail to-day for Bluff, returning to Dunedin on Tuesday to load for Auckland, via Tlmaru Lyttelton and Wellington. Karu Is to leave Nelson to-day for Dunedin direct and la due here on Sunday. She Is to load out on Monday for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via Oamaru. Tlmaru and Lyttelton. Walplata Is scheduled to leave Auckland today for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and Is due here on Wednesday. Kalmal Is to load at Westport to-morrow for Bluff and Dunedin. RANOITATA HOME The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Rangltata, which left Wellington on August 27. arrived at London on September 30. NARBADA SAILS After docking at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting, the Narbada sailed yesterday afternoon for Bluff to complete discharge of her Eastern cargo. She Is to clear Bluff tonight for Newcastle. Singapore and Calcutta LIMERICK TO SAIL The Limerick Is to sail to-day for Alclbourne, Sydney, Suva, Lautoka, Vancouver and San Francisco. HORORATA LATER J. W. Swift and Co. advise that the Hororata Is now expected here to-morrow to complete discharge of her cargo from New York. It Is understood that the vessel will later be laid up at Port Chalmers for a period. THORHILD LEAVES PALEMBANG Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that its» chartered motor tanker Thorhfld left Palembang last Friday with bulk fuel oil for Wellington. She is due there on October 15. TAIPING AT SYDNEY Neill and Co. advise that the Talplng was duo at Sydney on Wednesday and the Dunedin portion of her cargo will be transhipped by the Waikouaitl, which Is scheduled to sail from Sydney to-day for Bluff and Dunedin. KANNA AND LOONGANA A Japanese crew arrived at Wellington by the Maunganul to take the Kanna to Japan. Sold recently by the Union Company to Japanese shlpbreakers, the Kanna has been undergoing overhaul at Auckland prior to making her last voyage. She Is to leave Auckland next week for Melbourne, where she will pick up the famous old Bass Strait passenger steamer Loongana, which has also been sold East, and will tow her to Japan. The Loongana was built at Dumbarton In 1604 for the Tasmanian Steamships Proprietary, Limited, and is a triple screw vessel of 3448 gross tons, with a length of 300.3 feet. The Kanna Is 1948 tons gross and was built In 1911 at Leith by Ramage and Ferguson Limited, and has the following dimensions:— Length, 272 ft lln: breadth, 41ft 31n; and depth. 17ft 9in.
