(Per United Press Association) HAMILTON, Oct. 1. The building figures for the nine months at Hamilton disclose that 78 houses were erected and other work involving the expenditure of £93,123, compared with 69 houses and an expenditure of '£76,163 for the corresponding nine months of last year. In 1934 only 31 houses and other work valued at £31,245 were erected, showing that a boom has beer experienced during the past two years. WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. A marked increase has been shown this year in the number of petitions in bankruptcy in Wellington, totalling 20 for the nine months, against 14 for the corresponding nine months of last year.
