The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Land and Income Tax (Annual) Bill and the Land and Income Tax Amendment Bill were read a first time, and the Council adjourned at 2.45 p.m. till October 6. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ADJOURNMENT TILL TUESDAY 'From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. There will be no sitting of the House of Representatives to-morrow.
