DROUGHT SUFFERERS
SASKATCHEWAN FARMERS GOVERNMENT CANCELS DEBTS REGINA, Sept. 28. Cancellation of 75,000,000 dollars of farm debts throughout the drought area through the abolition of arrears of taxes and interest charges has been arranged by the Saskatchewan Government. Mortgage companies have agreed to cut interest rates to 6 per cent.
