CIVIL SERVICE CLUB’S SPORTS The Civil Service Club held its final sports meeting of the harrier season last evening, when the following events were decided:— 100 Yards.—R. Barnett (4yds) 1, L. M. Reeves (6yds) 2, I. Herbison 3. Time, 10 3-ssec. Won by inches, with a foot between second and third. 880 Yards.—R. Whittleston 1, S. Brander 2, R. Barnett 3. Time, 2min 12 2-ssec. Won by five yards, with 40 yards between second and third. Discus.—F. Wheeler (scr) 96ft, 1; S. Longworth (15ft), 89ft, 2; J. Gerken (sft), 86ft Sin, 3. Winner of the Sprints Cup.—R. Barnett, 11 points; runner-up, G. Brander, 9 points. Winner of the Field Events Cup.— D. Shepherd, 14 points; runner-up, R. Barnett, 7 points.
